Drake Maye (he born August 30, 2002) is an American football quarterback for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL), was drafted at 2024 nfl draft. He played college football for the North Carolina Tar Heels, leading the NCAA with over 5,000 yards of total offense and setting school-records in passing yards (4,321) and touchdowns (38) in 2022. Darke Maye was selected third overall by the Patriots in the 2024 NFL draft.In the 2023 season, Drake Maye threw for over 400 yards against Syracuse, Miami, and Campbell. Drake Maye was named second-team All-ACC after passing for 3,608 yards and 24 touchdowns while rushing for 449 yards and nine touchdowns. Drake Maye declared for the 2024 NFL draft following the season. He finished his career fifth in passing yards (8,018) and fourth in passing touchdowns (63) in UNC history.
